Her hub is strongly involved in the Finish start-up world around Slush Event. Slush is a startup and tech event, organized annually in Helsinki, Finland. In 2016, Slush gathered 17,500 attendees, including 2,300 startups, 1,100 investors and 600 journalists, together representing 130 countries. Our conversation takes an interesting turn around automating work and jobs and how this will impact our society. Miinu shares her insights and experiences around the Universal Basic Income experiments that are currently run in Finland. Creating equal access to education, work, creative expression and especially basic needs are the core of this conversation. Along with a Bachelor's in Law and Public Relations; she studied Human Rights, History and political ideals in Portugal. She also studied Management over a summer at the Stanford Business School. Lorrana’s passion for collaborative economy and social innovation grew out of her social work in poverty reduction since she was 12 years old. She believes that the answer to solve this global conundrum is delivering equal opportunities. “People may not have money but they always have time” she says.

Vesela Tanaskovic

Climate Scientist working on re-greening the desert in Dubai

Vesela Tanaskovic is on a mission to re-green the desert of Dubai, and shares from a rich mindset of abundance about her dreams of Global Citizenship on the Blockchain.

Now she is in Dubai working with Dubai Municipality to 10x the green areas of Dubai by 2020.  

Her life was inspired by Captain Planetman! She studied Architecture, zero emissions buildings for her masters, green buildings that produce oxygen instead of CO2. Her background is with a waste water treatment factory that uses solely microbiology to completely purify municipal sewage no chemicals, which inspired her to do more research on geo-engineering. This led to Veselas PhD research at TU Vienna, where she studied afforestation one of the geo-engineering methods, meaning desert greening- planting forest in the desert.

She developed a patent pending solution for creating arable soil in the desert within days,(now it takes 10-15 years) and this led to founding an NGO Afforest4Future.com .

This accelerated her entrepreneurial journey and gave her exposure to Singularity University as well as exponential technologies, and on a path of self discovery.

One of my core intentions for starting Green Planet - Blue Planet Podcast was struck today when I was on the phone with Olivier & Peter from Le Ciel Foundation - and that is the global shared experience of consciousness rising and expressing itself through humanity. I see a fundamental awakening in our ONE HEART and an alignment process with our spectacular abilities of MIND & BRAIN. Personally I do not see either of them as being more true or more important, I see the coherence between what is given to us as our vessel, our vehicle, our body, our heart, our mind, our pre-frontal cortex as the awakening and journey of raising consciousness. In this state of coherence, nothing but NOW matters. In this state of coherence, I believe we get to dance, to dream and to share our visions and excitement for a NEW EARTH.

A native of Buenos Aires, Jenny Tchinnosian is the Founder & Director of SoulFire: a branding agency dedicated to giving a voice to social causes. SoulFire finds creative ways to reach audiences via web design, magazines, branding, video, social media marketing, and more. Jenny is the first female Curator of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers chapter in Buenos Aires.

Jenny studied journalism at George Washington University and design at Parsons in New York, developing her career in the Associated Press (Rome), National Geographic (Washington DC), La Nación (Buenos Aires), Beaux Arts Magazine (Paris) and Intacto (Buenos Aires), where she led projects for Canon, JWT, IBM, Cisco, and Jack Morton, among others.

Jenny enjoys building community in every city where she lives, creating new links and learning about the cultures that surround it. She speaks English, Spanish, Italian and French.

Jack is a Media Creator, Spiritual Warrior and on a journey of the awakened Heart. He is a Virtual Reality pioneer, his "Moonshot" is to create Digital Medicine, tune in to understand the possibilities and disruptive roles both Augmented and Virtual Reality will take as complimentary pieces. 

Jack Siberine sees "...A.I. as the new electricity and Data as the new Oil." - Jack and myself are talking about what it takes for something to be seen as medicine and how we can deliberately shape and create technology as such. VR specifically holds the power to heal trauma, grow and practice focus and awareness through feedback loops between the MIND, ENVIRONMENT and the SENSORY FIELD. 

The experience itself can be shaped by the individual, that allows for a personal relationship with the medium that is not possible with other media - ones cognitive performance in a simulation will shape the simulation itself. 

The conversation carries us from frequencies and brain development to how we as individuals literally can become our own medicine - and as such making sickness optional. Virtual Environments aren't just supposed to be fun to play in but to accelerate our awareness and conscious mind to create a new mental relationship with both internal worlds and the external world in our every day society.
